Current Openings - Come Join the CIC Team!
Finding a group practice to work for is a lot like finding a therapist. There are a lot of really great ones out there and what makes it work is a fit on both ends. We hope this post has enough information for you to assess for fit on your end.
At Helpful + CIC, our core values are growth, care, trust, and equity. CIC is a therapy practice dedicated to supporting individuals through life’s challenges, including those caring for loved ones. Recently, we merged with Helpful, a technology company that empowers individuals to navigate insurance, healthcare, and caregiving with greater ease. Together, we focus on strengthening and supporting relationships, as we believe they are the foundation for meaningful change and well-being.
Does your why match our why? At Helpful + CIC, our "why" is rooted in a shared understanding: the current systems often fail to serve those who need help the most. This is what brought us together to forge a new path forward.
Today, we are committed to empowering individuals by helping them access the care and support they deserve. By combining CIC’s expertise in behavioral health with Helpful’s innovative approach to caregiving support and healthcare navigation, we are creating a holistic solution. Together, we aim to drive meaningful, systemic changes in healthcare—changes that are long overdue.
If this mission inspires you as much as it inspires us, we’d love for you to consider applying!
What makes Helpful + CIC unique in the therapy space
There is literally no other company like us out there - we are blazing a new path forward in the way we combine technology + therapy
All employees of Helpful + CIC have equity (part ownership) in the business - meaning we are greater than the sum of our parts and every single person contributes to the success and growth of the business
Therapists get to be on the forefront of these two companies coming together
Therapists have the opportunity to do more than just see clients (such as marketing, leadership, etc) as a way to diversify income.
Beyond providing mental health services, therapists have access to technology that supports clients navigating insurance and other healthcare related logistics
A larger voice in the direction of the business as a whole as we are in the earlier stages of this merger
Being part of an organization that is growing and improving daily
Working on a clinical team as well as being part of a larger organization of non-clinical leaders
The opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself.
Aspirational qualities we are looking for in a candidate (besides the ones everyone wants like someone who is reliable, driven, dedicated etc):
A person who values autonomy of their schedule while also wanting to be part of something larger than themselves
A person who wants to see clients and also have the option for work beyond therapy sessions (diversity of income)
A person willing to network and create professional community outside of the practice
A person who values diversity and expression
A person who wants to be in community with those around you and make the changes you wish to see in the world
A person who enjoys to sharing their knowledge and perspectives with the team
A person who enjoys working on a team and also has their own aspirations for potential leadership
A person who loves a challenge, and a puzzle to solve
A person with tolerance for a little trial and error as we grow and improve our systems
A person who values rest, boundaries, and professional growth
